Because I've been non stop thinking about California I may as well do a throw back (technically speaking, it is throwback Thursday).
Started off the trip at Long Beach, which was amazing. My brother and I celebrated with an icecream sandwich along the pier. We head take a boat tour that I found off of groupon for $15! Right? Pretty sweet deal. Once we got off, we made our way to the boardwalk and it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. When we were walking along, it felt like I was in a dream. That I wasn't actually really there, but there I was!
They had the cutest boutiques! The exterior of each boutique was painted a different color which made my heart melt into a puddle even more. And they had a gazebo with lights hung from the ceiling and they had an arcade too. Not only did it feel like a dream like I mentioned before, but it also felt like I was in a movie or in one of the contemporary books that I read. (UGH! I WANNA GO BACK SO BAD! HAHA) I could just feel the warm breeze and feel the sun kiss my skin.
But anywho, after the boardwalk, we head back to a mall that was right beside it, chilled there till our shuttle picked us up then made our way back to our hotel. And that was pretty much the end of day one.
As for the remainder of the trip, we spent all at Disneyland and the California Adventure Park. It probably took us 3 days to finish the two parks completely. Plus we actually ate at what was considered to be the top places at Disneyland and let me tell you ... it was delicious. It was definitely an amazing and unforgettable trip with my little bro. Honestly, when I think of California not only does it remind me of how BEAUTIFUL it is. But it reminds me of the bond between my brother and I. I'm so proud to be his big sister and I am also proud to have him as my little brother. He may be a stubborn kid but at the end of the day, we're all about the sibling love. We've actually been planning on going back, so crossing my fingers that we make another trip down south and be reunited with the golden state.
