Getting my pup was quite the adventure and quite ... an interesting story.
It all started fall 2014, So I had a kitten phase where I hands down wanted a cat. I was about to meet somebody who was giving away their kitten and it was purrfect. (Get it?)
ANYWHO, so just I'm about to meet with the owners I tell my mom about it and she went off the chain and to sum it all up - to not get the damn cat. Ended up not getting the cat. But I still wanted to get a pet. So I did my research went to the pet store and spontaneously bought a chinchilla. This chinchilla who had no name yet stayed at my home for about a week or so till my dad noticed. Keep in my mind that my dad rarely comes home because he works so much. But the day that he did notice, well he asked how long Chinchilla's live for (About 10 years) then said if you're going to keep that you might as well get a dog.And that's where it begun. The search to find a pooch.
A couple of days later (Early December 2014) I came across an ad for Bruno - which was no name at the time. A photo of two cavapoo pups sided by side (image above), o
ur whole family wanted the one on the right. For one his dark curls and second it's a boy!!!
Headed down to Pincher Creek, which is about a 2 hour drive south of Calgary. We pulled up to the farm, met up with the breeder, headed over to the barn, and holy shit. There were so many dogs. SO MANY. The breeder said he would be right back and get the puppy and as soon as he passed him over. My god. My heart melted. I was just like, I'm done. Lets go. Take my money. Take everything. Give me this puppy. Finalized everything with the breeder and that was it.
We ended up naming the little perogie, Bruno. A lot of people ask if it's because of Bruno Mars. Actually no haha It's because I'm a huge Disney Fan and my family and I were looking at a list of Disney Characters and Bruno is actually Cinderella's dog.

Bruno Baby will be turning three this October 9th and I can't believe how much he has grown. Not only has he grown physically but as a pup altogether. He's such a good boy, I love him to death. And he's most definitely a cuddle bug just like me <3 Every time I'm feeling down he never leaves my side. He's always there. Every single day I look forward to coming home to that wagging tail and endless cuddles.
