Mind, Body, Spirit

It has been one crazy week so figured I needed some down time to nourish my body and elevate my mind. So had a massage set up and finished it off with a candlelight bubble bath ... which was amazing.

I have been crossing so many things off my list lately but I ended up getting swirled into the whirlpool. Honestly, I don't handle stress very well. I get all clammy, my mind goes a muck and I get anxiety attacks. With that being said, lately I have been finding ways to remedy this.

For starters, conquer one thing at a time. I have the tendency to try to accomplish multiple things at the same time which gets me NO WHERE but with a frazzled mind. By creating lists and keeping track of everything in my bullet journal (something I will elaborate later on) has helped me tremendously.

Me time! Venture to a new place or start something new. I've always enjoyed my me time and for a good portion I lost touch with that because I simply pushed it aside which was very bad because it took a toll of me. To do so, I've been reading a lot more. Every weekend or so i'll go out of town. I've made it a necessity to get out of the city to reset by myself because I notice I come back with a better mindset. Which I've always taken Bruno with me and he seems to enjoy the trips too.

All in all, I have come to the realization of what I need to achieve this inner peace within myself.

Train Through The Canadian Rockies, Banff To Vancouver. Made the trip summer, 2015, after spending a week in the Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper area. So glad I did it!:
